Generally no - some won't even allow ground sheets or barbecues  - I guess it depends how far it is from the ground.

It would be on legs and off the ground, would it be allowed on the national meet, would a bbq be possible?

Off ground barbies are definitely allowed - you can smell the burning food for miles

Depends on the site rules rather than the meet rules - some sites are strict others encourage campfires in specified areas
of the site.Occasionally people have been known to add kindling to a BBQ after they,ve finished cooking  but make sure its well away from your neighbours awning (sparks) If you have a grill that will fit over the top of your firepit doesn't it then become a barbecue ?

My Fire Pit does have a griddlle peace that goes over the top and also a spark guard.

I think that it will be OK then, as long as no harm is done to the grass. If it has metal legs, you might want to consider placing it on breeze blocks just to make sure.

We always put a breeze block underneath to be on safe side it fits perfectly so would it be allowed on the National Meet?

As far as I'm concerned it's OK, but you might want to check with Lickhill Manor management to make sure.
