Re: Gear selector/inhibitor switch WANTED
I have a spare box with a good one on? How desperate are you and how much are you willing to pay? I could remove it you.
Falling that are any other pins the same? I have a Bongo with no engine and box. I might be able to get you another pin and a length of wire?

Re: Gear selector/inhibitor switch WANTED
Hi, thanks for the speedy reply. Quite honestly I don't know the extent of the damage as it's with my mechanic at the local garage. I'm assuming from the pictures you couldn't use wire and a pin because its built inside the plastic? ideally I'd like the whole unit and the female part of the plug with some wire left (fussy, I know!) just to make it easier and he said they're both fairly corroded.Billybongo123 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 26, 2018 7:13 pm I have a spare box with a good one on? Also there are different versions I believe so would have to be the same as the pictured one.
So I'm fairly desperate as i'd love to use the van because I've only had it 6 weeks..what money would you be looking for? I have no idea what it's worth.
Also where are you located? Thanks, Toby

Still searching for one of these. No-one on ebay is willing to separate from gearbox sadly.

I understood the auto gearbox was fitted to other vehicles? In which case maybe contact Alacrity to see if there are alternative/ other compatible sources?

Re: Gear selector/inhibitor switch WANTED
I used this place in the past for a gearbox solenoid and found them very good , one of the techs there is familiar with bongos .
I can't remember his name but they will " automatically ". ( sorry ) send all bongo stuff his way , might be worth a call
Best of luck
