I'm looking for new big end shells for the 96 2.5d WL
Does anyone know where I can get a set please?
Anyone ever replaced them?

What has made this necessary
Re: Big end shells
I'm guessing this is one of the parts identical to the Ford Ranger?

Re: Big end shells
After I purchased all the bits to rebuild our engine (head kit from club) and set about doing so, I found our no.4 cylinder had a huge 4" C shape crack in the wall

Never thought of that Bob, thanks

Re: Big end shells
Doesn’t sound like big ends they generally stay nosey all the time if the cam followers are manual adjustment might be worth checking
Re: Big end shells
Just seen this thread, I need a set of B/E shells, the bottom end knocks like a b*gger at 3k rpm, I want to change them before there's any permanent damage/scored crank journals.
Does anyone have a part no. source please?
Thanks.
