Never been to a "meet" as yet, but i may be tempted to pluck up the courage for this one.

Hi all,

Target date is the weekend of 18/19/20 March. Barring one final detail it should be confirmed tomorrow and will post on "fancy meeting up" calendar then. But meanwhile, you heard it here first!

Can you pencil us in and keep us advised. We may not be able to arrive before Friday night - don't know for sure at this stage.
What time would they close in the evening for arrivals?
Otherwise we would arrive as early as we can on Saturday.

Hope this goes ahead. Have pre-booked the Thursday and Friday off work. They owe me big time at the moment!

Tentative announcement here....

Brokerswood no longer accept "Rallies" or "Group Bookings (more than 2 units)" as they had several problems last year which resulted in them having to eject people from their site.

This means that booking as a meet is not possible!

BUT....... I have spoken to them and they agree that individual units booking onto the site on the weekend of the 18/19/20 March is acceptable despite the fact that they all may actually know each other. They just may not be completely grouped together but it's a fairly small site and this will not make any difference.

So, if anyone here would like to book themselves onto the site for that weekend then they will see that Susie and I will be there along with some other very quiet (Bongo type) people...

For your info and peace of mind Susie and myself completely understand the stance of the site mangement and would fully support any efforts they make to preserve the excellent reputation, tranquility and child (well, Crazy anyway) friendly environment. Those of you who have been there will know what I am talking about. I (and the general Bongo community) will take it personally if anyone were to let their trust down.

They currently have at least 15 spaces available for that weekend at £15 per night with hookup and you are now encouraged to book in as INDIVIDUALS if still interested on 01373 822238.

Any questions please PM me with your phone number and I will get in contact with you. Also please PM me if and when you have booked.

Many thanks

Paul and Susie

All other Bongo Meets will pail by comparison. As a 'local' Bongo go on get yourself booked in. We are all a great bunch ( even if some of us have defected to the larger size  ).

Mrs D & I must wait a bit to get other plans addressed be 4 we can commit fully. But it's only a matter of days now 8)

Love the play on words, Dago! "Pail" - as in make sure you bring your wellies cos it's usually wet and muddy! Especially when Crazy takes you for a walk!!!!!!  The cider's worth it though!!! :D
