Hi there. A bit premature as we don't pick up our bongo till next saturday but have already joined this club and looking at enjoying getting out and about!

There's me (Mel), hubby (Nick) and our 9 year old Josh.

We're Dorset all the way through and in Lytchett Matravers.

We've added our names to the waiting list for Merley, but even if we can't camp, we'll come along to say hello!!!

Looking forward to meeting everyone!!! :D

Dave and Hilary, from Bearwood here, had our beloved Bella Bongo for nearly 3 years, looking forward to the long journey to Merley in April!!

Does any one in Poole/Bournemouth know of a small body work shop that could cure a little bit of rust of the wheel arch, and not try and charge the earth?

Hellooooo!
We are Gareth and Tina from Aldershot, Hampshire-just! (right on the surrey/hampshire border)
We've had our bongo only a month, took it up for a run to Leicester recently, ran very well.
Looking forward to camping in it later this year, need to decide wot kind of conversion to have and wether to do it ourselves or not.
Got 3 boys, although eldest is at uni now so doesn't do the camping with us and have already got the awning....

Hi, we have had a Thule Omnistar pull out awning just fitted by Hillview Blinds of Northbourne in Bournemouth, very good and quick, its not a million miles away, could even incorporate a stay over, would be happy to meet up.

I hope it is as I have done lots of measuring up and shopping around for ramps etc. I have been told pick up likely tomorrow Yay at last I can have my Bongo back with ramps and tracking fixed. Hoping my daughter may just may and i know it is a big may beable to transfer (she can't use her legs) to Bongo flip up seats and manage to sleep in it then she can have some camping fun too. Will post some pics of Bongo and ramp etc when it is back.

If your looking for a first camping trip with the back up and help of others, (if you want it) the bookings for the meet in Looe start next Thursday. Always a nice meet, club house, live band, etc

thanks for this Chris & Gem - dipped my toes in the water with a one-night stay at Sandy Bay (where I gave up on the awning without instructions cos I wasn't sure if all the poles were there and it's hard work on your own)
off to Silverstone for the F1 GP next,
already booked for the Brean meet and will defo be at Looe (only prob is that the phone lines open to book whilst I'm watching the fast cars) .. but totally looking forward to meeting other owners. Need loads of advice cos hubby's got MS, so it's up to a humble girlie to look after Winnebongo. A trifle daunting if I'm honest :(
Love the club and forum 8)

Sounds great Chris&Gen. Will look into it. Used ramps and they worked well. Photos still to come later. Went out today and forgot to take any doh.
