Split Charge Relays
I'm not sure out Smartcom is charging the LB properly, can't say I'm surprised as to me it felt pretty cheap & nasty when I pt it in.
What split charge relay do people recommend other than the Smartcom.

Re: Split Charge Relays
You can find several on EBAY, something like a Duritc is a good make, certainly you want something rated above 40 Amps. Probably best to choose one of the complete kits as then you can be reasonably certain that the wiring and fuses will be adequate.

Durite or Merlin work for me..... when I've done others now in the absence of Willinton Kits... Going to change my Willinton for a Durite set up over the Christmas period..

Re: Split Charge Relays
Interesting thread. It seems a lot more kit choices are available than when willinton first offered his kit. Back then there seemed to be nothing else available for us non leccies wanting to fit a VSR kit.
Re: Split Charge Relays
Making the system for my friends transit was easy enough but fitting a ready made kit like the ones Martin supplied would have been even easier and much quicker. His kit had everything and the instructions were so clear.mikeonb4c wrote:Interesting thread.
