Rear seat rails removal

Post by BongoBunch » Sun Oct 18, 2020 10:09 pm

Hi, I have removed the rear seats and wish to remove the rails but can't get the pin out which keeps them in place? It seems to have a keep washer on? Tried bashing with hammer and no avail? Is there a technique or do I bash harder?? Thanks in advance

It's a long time since I changed the seat rails, but from memory you just remove the 17mm bolts and lift the rails away from the floor. Note - they're jolly tight.

Pretty sure there's a Fact Sheet on modifying them, which gives details. 8)

As bob saaid its a long time since it did this
The pins are held by star washers a damn good lever or thump.
2 screws hold end stop in position
With end stops and pin removed the slider can be removed.( asuming seat removed )
I left rails in position.
Are you removing seats pr turning around
