Basic professional conversion company recs

Post by feeblecat » Wed Aug 08, 2018 8:41 pm

Hi, I've currently got another thread running "not a bongo". In a nutshell had a bongo, loved it, had to sell it, now looking for another campervan - a bit bigger than a bongo. Looking at Toyota Alphard, Hyundai i800 and similar. Looking at prices I think I could get a newer van unconverted and then get it converted for cheaper. Having had a van already for a number I have a good idea of what we need and can do without. We are hopeless at DIY so would be looking at getting it professionally done. I'm not bothered about cupboards etc. So would be looking for insulation, swivel passenger seat, rock and roll bed and electrics. Can anyone recommend a company who would do this (I'm in Scotland but would travel)? If anyone has an idea of what this could cost that would be great - just as a guide. Thanks.

The first one in my mind is Denis at New Dawn Conversions. Very well thought of on here, and with good reason.

Price... Sadly impossible to stab at pricing, it will depend on the work done and the company.
