Sink tap not working

Post by pollypoo2 » Thu Jun 28, 2018 6:05 pm

Hi All,

Hope someone can advise me where to get my 12v pump repaired.

The water tank fills under the passenger seat so need to put van on a ramp to get under and access the water pump and repair/replace it. Does anyone know where I can get this fixed near Chesterfield/Sheffield?

The water tank is full but tank gauge not working and when switch on pump at zig unit the fuse is blowing.

Thanks!!

Might be worth finding a Caravan / Motorhome dealer who does repairs locally perhaps or might be worth a call to BongoSpares who would also be local to you perhaps ?

I tried to help with this exact problem a while back.

Of course I can't remember who the convertor was, but eventualy it had to go back to them and they said 4 hours to remove and replace the pump.

Might be worth checking the wiring before looking to dig out the pump?

Thank you for your replies - I'll try Bongo Spares and a call to the converter and see where I get :)

I've fixed it myself, I bought a new faucet, which has a pull-down sprayer and a special system of instalation, it works well and I think that was a good decision.

Definitely agree with Bob, check the wiring right through before embarking on retrieving the . more likely for a wire to have got chaffed or broken along the way than a submerged pump to come to grief.
