Pop-top access

Post by frogeyepete » Thu Nov 09, 2017 7:01 pm

Sorry if this topic has been covered before but ........
Can anyone tell me if they have come up with a good design of floor/access for an after market pop-top. I have a Bongo on order which will probably come with a series of plywood panels. I guess this will work, but doesn't seem very user friendly for getting my grandchildren in and out. I would like to replace the plywood with lighter aluminium panels if such things exist.

Subsequently discovered extensive comments on this topic, but I think most are aimed at AFT 's and don't know if anyone has tried anything other than plywood.
