Gas hob

Post by Dave218 » Sat Mar 04, 2017 3:04 pm

Well Beryl has arrived, but I haven't a clue how anything works! Sat on the drive dying to make a brew and can't get the burners on, can't even locate a gas bottle ( if it has one) only what appears like an adapter on the outside? Is this the norm,do I have to put my gas bottle outside, help please my fellow bongonaughts

Congrats on getting the Bongo.
Is it a side conversion?
Bottle(s) are normally in the wardrobe bit.
I would imagine the outside gas thingy is for an outside barby or something any chance of an image of the offending item?
You may be able to trace back from that pipe to the bottle.

Open the rear door, and look down the lower right corner often a small hatch behind which is the mounting for a gas bottle ?

Perhaps some pictures then, the trouble is everyone can be a bit different depending on what was wanted at the time!

Don;t know much about your conversion, but in my side-conversion it's under the unit immediately behind the drivers seat - Standing outside the drivers door I fold the seat forward to access it.

Good luck, and enjoy the Bongo.

Sat having a brew even as we speak, what I thought of as technical difficulties I've been assured is only a learning curve! :-)
Just to sort the leisure battery situation, how to fasten the awning, wait for the wife to 'decorate' and the upstairs mattress to arrive and I think Bob might just be my uncle
