Re: 47" or 41" Bed in side conversion ??
Me and my partner think width matters. But seriously, one thing thats always irked me about the common conversion fridge is the front opening door, as every time you open it it'll dump its cold air and have to make more, unlike a top opening fridge. Also, in many conversions (though i daresay the underbench fridge will have the same issue) you can't open the door once the bed is made up. If money were no object I think I'd choose the slimline side conversion and if possible fit an efficient (compressor type) toploading coolbox. Interestingly, my friends' top of the range VW T5 conversion uses a top loading coolbox.
