Torn fly screen on roof tent

Post by pixies » Sat Apr 09, 2016 6:59 pm

Hi there,

New Bongo-ist here. We are looking at a Bongo to buy and have it for a day. One of the problems we have found is a torn fly screen on the roof tent (sorry if I don't know the correct terminology).

Is this something that can be replaced, or will I have to budget for a whole new tent? It appears to be sewn along the bottom edge onto the tent.

Cheers

Forget it! I have now learned how to use the search properly and have found loads of threads.

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a company that will replace the entire fly netting? I've tried repairing with the usual recommended 'patch' products but tears in mine are too large. As close as to Isle of Wight as possible but will consider anywhere!

Thanks,

Steve
