Overhead storage

Post by the.sasquatch » Wed Nov 26, 2014 3:33 pm

Hi all,
Does anyone have plans for the overhead storage lockers? They look like a great idea but the ones i have seen seem rather expensive so going to make my own, just being lazy though and don't want to make up my own template  If no-one has I will make some up when i get them built.

Cheers

If that's the one in question I wonder if it would be worth emailing it to Ian at Bongo Fury asking if he might put it up as a members factsheet :-)

Can't remember where I got it from now,it's for a full length(just behind drivers seat right to back door) cupboard made in two sections, with three drop down doors.Just read it through but no sign of a name on it.

Wasn't it Vince who runs Ace campers who did the original templates and he now makes and sells them?

http://www.ace-campers.co.uk

I bought one of his arm rests a few years ago and it's suoerb. Tempted with the top lockers as well

To amend my post above, the plans I've got show four not three drop down doors and are much longer than the Ace Campers ones.

Can top boxes be fitted in a tinny or does one need the extra height of a pop top?

Not sure, the ones I've seen are shaped to fit the headlining around the hatch. I assume the tin top is different
