Hello,
Has anyone tried these steel wheel arch trims:-

I looks like they are the same as these but chrome:-

I've also seen these which are plastic:-

All comments welcome, especially if you've had them fitted for a while.
Chrome wheel arch trims - anyone tried them?

Re: Chrome wheel arch trims - anyone tried them?
Hello,
yes bought them and fitted to mine after having wheel arches resprayed.
Not as good as I thought they'd be. The inner lip only partly covers the wheel arch edge. And the clips are pieces of stainless 50mm x 12mm sheet (not sure how much stainless as they stick to a magnet)
You bend them around the wheel arch lip. I put some sleeving on them to protect the paintwork.
Would I buy them again?....probably not. Look okay, I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Re: Chrome wheel arch trims - anyone tried them?
Hello Tony,
They're a cheaper alternative to the rare and expensive originals ones. They don't seem as 3D in profile like the advertised ones. They have a black rubber edge where they touch the body work.
The trims have slots in them where the clip is pushed through with a 5mm bend to anchor it. Then folded around the wheel arch lip.
I had my wheel arches resprayed and waxoiled before fitting.
Cheers,
David
P.S still pondering on the stainless door window trims from the same seller.
