Thanks Mike,

I will take a load of pictures this weekend when I am in Cornwall.
Made my side window cover last night and fitted my TV plus covered the side panel in lining carpet.

looking good.
Will it be the black wheels or the silver?
Don't get too carried away with the red, I think less is more is always safest with strong colour accents, the subtle pinstriping around the front for example looks great.
Did you paint the AFT too?
.......... cycling more.

I need to paint around the side windows as it is impossible to get in there with a roller, so plan to rattle can it red including the side mirrors. Basically I am following the line at the top of the door/below the side mirror that goes into the front wing, up the A pillar, along the gutter, down the rear side window and back to the side mirror. Point taken about less is more, so I am going to avoid painting the AFT red for now (currently rattle can matt black).

Wheels are going to be matt black and I have one left to do (rattle can) .

I forgot to add I changed colour as the Halfords rattle can paint I sprayed the mirror with reacted with rustoleum (test it before touching the van), so I tried plasticote from Hobbycraft which was fine, but plasticote red looks pink, so I went for gloss green.

Wow, that looks so cooooool. You're just not supposed to do colours like that on a Bongo

It says something that people are starting to individualise their Bongos just as they did with the old VW Type 2. The conservative camping set must have tut-tutted like mad when the hippies first did that but the rest, as they say, is history.

Plasticote supper matt black from Hobbycraft.
I found the coverage with plasticote really good and the finish is really good (won't run).

The Bongo can take bold colours as it is a modern van. Can't wait to get the side done in green :-)
