The roof is now the same colour as the main body (silver grey).

Did you replace the rubber around the roof in the end?

Did you also use Rustoleum roller on the roof?

Yes, I ordered 8m and fitted it, but got stuck at the back as it was too tight to fit and not enough space to hit with a mallet, so I did not bother with the final part above the tailgate.

Paint: Rustoleum Combi Colour which was applied with a 4 inch roller brush.
Web link regarding roller painting process tips etc - http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... start=2655
I bought the paint from: https://www.promain.co.uk/product/rusto ... oss-id1190 and 2.5 litres should be enough to do a van (same colour) or 5 ltrs if a colour change. Thin down with white spirit (4 parts pain and 1 part thinners)
Best roller brush to use: 4 inch mohair roller. I tried foam rollers but got loads of air bubbles when painting http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321539611467? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Pain trays: Wickes sell cheap clear plastic trays (5) for about £2.50

I sprayed the green bits with plasticoat paint from Hobbycraft as other aerosol paint reacts with Rustoleum.

Did you try loosening off the AFT nuts that hold the brackets to the roof, allows you to lift the rear edge slightly.

A few questions regarding your purchase of the roof rubber seal:
1/ was 8mts the right length to buy?
2/ is this a like for like replacement or is it different in any way?
3/ is it not possible to undo the bolts on the back of the roof and lift it a bit to fit it on?
4/ is it a good fit?
5/ what was the length of delivery?

My Bongo has just gone in for a respray and the rubber is looking shabby and cracking in places. I want to replace mine to finish it off.
I can, I do, I did.
