LEATHERETTE SEAT COVERS

Post by digitalgypsy » Tue May 28, 2013 10:45 am

Hi all,
I'm trying to find someone who makes car seat covers SPECIFIC/TAILORED for the Bongo. I found this new listing on eBay just yesterday: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZDA-BONGO-F ... 1133208024
As you can see, those seat covers are specifically tailored for the bench seat and rear gull wing seats etc (also what I have).

Does anyone know someone/company who makes Bongo specific seat covers? I don't like the faux leather ones above and have something else in mind. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I spent days before with this search but gave up in the end. I did scour the forum as well but didn't find any links to specific Bongo car seat makers.

Thanks again :)
Steve

Like these ..... http://www.geocities.jp/friendy_sg5w/seat/1-1.htm - Don't think you can get them in the UK, but prepared to be proved wrong of course.

I've had my seats reupholstered recently by Total Trim S.W. in Plymouth.
First rate job done by Paul Solomon, who cleverly replaced the fabric sections that get the wear and tear, while retaining the sections that don't (the backs and side panels you don't really notice)
I'll post some pics, soon as I work out how to upload them into the forum.

This was a pimp that I wasn't going to compromise on, and bespoke work always has its price.
If you'll excuse me, I'll politely refer you direct to Paul - P.O.A.
I'm glad you like them though, thankyou.

They look bloomin stupendous!! :o =P~ As in really good. I can see why you wanted to show the photos

If I wasn't moving on to my next Bongo then I would have this done to mine as well. Would you mind forwarding me Paul's details as well? I really don't want to do anything more to my current Bongo but something like would make it look quite special...
