Has anyone fitted actual Air Ride to a Bongo, would love to see one done. Very expensive though.

Mine was £99 plus 10 postage.
Re: air suspension
Can you pump it up and down and adjust the ride height, if so how much can it go up and down.
The air ride I was looking at was £2000

Re: air suspension
Mine had the Japanese equivalent fitted. I always used to lower the suspension when camping and, as it had a full body kit, the front spoiler was nearly touching the ground. People used to ask how I got over speed bumps - they looked amazed when I pushed the switches to pump it up by about 6"stuc wrote:Has anyone fitted actual Air Ride to a Bongo, would love to see one done. Re: air suspension
These are the £99 spring assisters. The are not air suspension units, but inflatable 'bags' that sit inside the coils to help give them some extra resilience and reduce bottoming out. You can slightly adjust the ride height if the current springs are quite saggy, but they do not do any of that jigging up and down malarkey that you see on Pimp My Ride.
