Total Respray
Well the mechanical bits and bobs on a Bongo are not a problem for me, however bodywork and such are.
A mate will happily put on rear wheel arches for me which will tidy the vehicle up a bit. He does not have the facilities to do a total respray though.
So to this end, can anyone recommend a company that could do this. Would be even better if they were members.
Please note that I would be looking for a colour change.
Distance is not a huge problem as I am willing to travel.

Julian,
Mine is going to be Lime Green......though.
Is the last pic the one of the dodgy cylinder bores that you were working on a little while ago?
How did you resolve the issue on that one?
Regards
Keith

Re: Total Respray
Looking forward to seeing this lime green paint job.
Would like to paint mine something different eventually, I like orange like the focus ST.
If you can post where you are i have quite a few contacts for paintwork.

Altho i'm liking the idea of lime green, i mean whats not to like about green ? just remember that you may want to sell it some day ( harsh but true ) and by going lime green your seriously gonna limit your potential buyers, so to my mind why not get her vynal wrapped in lime green so if you ever want to revert back it can all be peeled off.
With a vynal wrap there's no masking no rubbing down, no spraying and no over spray, also it can be done in a day and probably for less money that a paint job.

Re: Total Respray
I'd love to get mine resprayed in classic green/silent silver. The only change I might make would be aft in silent silver, but still with original stickers. Call me an old fart ha ha

Green over Silver - Classically understated and the only way to go in my opinionmikeonb4c wrote:I'd love to get mine resprayed in classic green/silent silver. The only change I might make would be aft in silent silver, but still with original stickers. Call me an old fart ha ha

Re: Total Respray
Thanks for the response regarding the cut of my jib....Just been out for a quick drive down the pub in my Boris.....dropped one of my cohorts off at his home.
He said to me "Wow no rattles or bangs". Followed by "This is so you"....as previously mentioned my Bongo is like a needy child. He is receiving all the TLC I can afford at this time.
So glad I can sort all the mechanical stuff out myself.
So would describe this particular Bongo as "Work In Progress".
Onwards and upwards to the goal of total reliability.
With a Bongo one assumes to be attained at the time as perpetual motion.
Answers on a post card or stuck down envelope.
