Re: in van entertainment
I was using a VEBA in dash unit that did DVD, digital tv, CD and radio tuner which fitted where the normal stereo fitted in the dash. Allied to a screen in the headrest or a flip down you have a great little dual purpose system.

We got a 16" 12 / 240 Volt TV By Akura 1080p DVD player and more inputs than I know what to do with.
SO nearly got the 19"......
Big enough to sit in the house over the winter and be useful then into the van to keep the kids happy for the summer
Re: in van entertainment
Took a while but remembered to add some photos of the rear screen. It is removeable when not being used.

Got a dongle thingy too. Didnt get many channels last weekend as only have the small mag mount aerial. Have you got any links for the aerial you have?
Cheers and thanks

Re: in van entertainment
I have a small maplin's TV.... not a massive screen but works worldwide with Freeview etc.. choice of TV is personal preference........as for Aerial...the most important bit of kit................ the best one I have found is the Avtex one....£34 ish but brilliant....even comes with a Satnag type sucker mount and can be used inside and outside the van......
One thing to remember is that it's a digital aerial with a 20db booster so future proof as we are all being switched over in the next year or so....

Re: in van entertainment
Finally got round to fitting the TV to the Roof and finding a way to hold it up there while driving.
A hook under the Light attached to the roof, piece of old webbing, and a 16" laptop cover.
Back from a trip undo 4 screws and the TV is back in the Kids Bedroom.
hope this helps./
regards Mr P
