Hello,

Im looking for a rear gate for bongo friendee with free top, with shipping to finland.

I live in finland, and i have the only bongo here, so no spares available.

If someone has a rear gate to offer or if someone could help, please contact.

I'm also looking for the whole Cardan Shaft, it is a bit twisted.

Thank you!

Kindly,
Sampo Saukko

Be aware there are 3 types depending on age & spec so best to send a photo to the supplier to confirm it's the same type.

You will also need to let them know whether its 2WD or 4WD.

Cardan shaft is a drive shaft http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardan_shaft

I didn't actually know that but googled it.....

Thank you for fast reply! :)

I have been in contact with George earlier.
The price of the shipping was quite high then, but it is one option.

I was just looking for a better price.

By Cardan Shaft, i mean the whole shaft from transmission to back which spins the rear wheels.
Also the "ball joint/universal joint?" if im saying this right, is a bit damaged. I think those i can get pretty cheap as new too.

I do not know how to explain this properly in english...

Thanks,

Sampo Saukko

is it 2 wheel drive or 4 wdrive, the prop shafts are different lengths.

4wdrive.

2wdrive.

you say it is twisted, so is it the rear drive/half shaft.

Is the tailgate damaged?

If so how badly? As it may be that repair will cost less than replacement.

Hi
Have you tried Norsk European Wholesale for transport of parts? : http://www.norsk-global.com/ They are a reasonable price and pretty quick. You get the part to their depot in the UK, and they get it to your local company in Finland. I just had a part picked up by Parcel Monkey in the UK, and shipped here by Norsk....surprisingly quick! I think TNT are good to your region...sometimes I've had bits from Riga within a day or two!
Cheers

Thanks again!

It's 4WD

I will check the Norsk thing!

Tailgate is damaged, and the window too.
If i could get only the window for cheap, it would be smart to fix the tailgate.

It's just that the gate itself does not cost that much, it's the shipping. Which is almost as expensive for the window only, because its glass.
Maybe this Norsk European shipping thing helps!

We are still exploring the problem with the cardan shaft, it can be that the universal joint is not installed properly. Anyway, it is out of balance, and the car is vibrating bad in highway speeds.

We'll see..

Thank you,

Sampo

Hi
Norsk might be good to contact...they are agents for TNT, and I know TNT are good in Latvia, and I'll bet they deliver to Tallinn, then it's a ferry "hop" to Helsinki!
Good Luck
