Suspension lifts/poly air bags??

Post by chiefster1976 » Sat Dec 03, 2011 5:13 am

Hi to all OZY bongo owners!!..and to others across the Globe!!!

Has anyone lifted a bongo suspension??If so how much lift in inches without upsetting the wheel angles/prop etc??

One of the bongos i have here has a tow bar but once loaded up with all my camping gear, a 7X4 ft Trailer with motorcross bike in it the thing weighs down a bit at the back...
1. Maybe just stiffer rear springs?
2. Maybe poly air bags in the middle of the rear springs?? Anyone bought these in OZ??

Still keen to review a minor suspension lift too as the previous owner put on MAXXIS 751 light truck tyres on..
215/75/15 ...75 is generally what delicas and uts have on over here.. Hence a suspension lift wont look too out of place if the bongo is lifted!!
Open to Bongoers knowledge!!! thanks....Gav... =D>
Racing green with extras!!Self build full side conversion which rocks!!!

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.
