Trip to Italy

Post by Pompeysteve » Mon Apr 21, 2014 1:37 pm

Hi,
In the next 5-6 weeks I will be buying a bongo....2.5v6 petrol tin top, with lpg/or have it fitted. The bongo will be an every day vehicle.
During August we travel to la spezia in Italy from weston super mare.....hols for a few weeks. Via bel, lux, fra ,ger, swit Italy.
I understand we can't use Eurostar (lpg)...any other restrictions?. Will stay on way down and back, for day or two each time.
Anyone done similar?
Any suggestions,comments or ideas.
Thanks.

Last year we went to lake como via germany and austria and back through freance.

was lovely. Lake como was fab. we stayed on a small (small pitches) but fab and fun site with a great bar called http://campingspiaggia.com/en/component ... ticle?id=8

it was fun, right on the lake and had great transport links, boats, buses and trains on its door step. It was really easy to get around and see all the local sites.

http://www.muellerwiese.de/camping-black-forest.htm is in the black forest in a lovely traditional village, and a great stop for a couple of days.

good luck
