Does anyone know if we’re still planning a Jacob’s join on the Sat eve? Don’t want to turn up with a boat load of chilli that will go to waste! Also, is anyone up for a 6 mile (ish) walk on the Saturday afternoon? (Weather permitting of course)

Hi, I thought the Jacobs join had been scrapped.
I was planning on a walk Saturday too there looks to be a nice 6 miler around Dent.

Ian has told me Jacob’s join scrapped as too cold so pub it is then!!

well i had a great time, was a tad cold though on saturday night, the dog drinking bowls were frozen,
. luckily i had brought 2 vests.

Thanks to all at Dent for their friendly chat & advice to a prospective Bongo owner- - when we've finished spending all our savings on this new house in Skipton. Hope Ian, who suggested our visit, recovers from his injury and repairs his Bongo soon. Lots of good advice, and a great run through the Yorkshire countryside -- looking forward to doing it in a Bongo, though!
