You should get yourself one of these Ady - https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A% ... BzN2SshX7c

But it looks as though Warren is not going to make it to Silverdale now as he has to be in Stratford on Avon by 5pm on Sunday to start a week long course on Monday. There should now be room for you to sleep under my motorhome. It will be dry but maybe a wee bit draughty, Just mind that you don't bash your head on the spare wheel.

That's Warrens job Ady, he is a qualified career. He only got the job with me because he signed a contract that forbids him from drinking my beer an eating my Scots breakfasts. Somehow I don't think that you would be up to the job. Might change my mind if you bring your CV with you to Silverdale so that I can have a look at it. :-k :-k :-k

Yuk! latest weather forecast is that 40mph gusts of wind are expected at Silverdale next Saturday evening. Do we put the Marque up in the usual spot in the field or do we put it up in the woods for a bit of shelter. Methinks that I had better bring my old rock climbing helmet just in case, things have a habit of falling on me. That's why Ady is not getting the top bunk in my van.

     . weve had it worse than that tony, i can remember one year we were chasing the awnings across the field in the middle of the night. it does sound really bad though as it blows through the tall trees. but dont worry, i will be really close if you need body protection.

Just put on a few pounds before Saturday Ady. We may need them to weigh the van down if I don't get my usual spot.

That's decided me then. I'll bring the trailer for storage just in case I have to lower the roof!

Ok i,m down for this -storm Brian has been upgraded and projected wind speeds increased -now i,m not sure Bongoplod (much as i love you darling) with 50mph wind is desirable, - so i,m a bit nervous
not keffling (yet) but just wondering Ady if youre going home the motorway or the A65.
If its the latter please can we go in procession just would feel happier with some-one else around if its windy and flooded. (yes i know i,m a wimp :( )

BBC weather forecast says that the strong winds will be between 8am on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday. Looks live it is going to be a case of battling our way across the field to the pub and praying like mad while we have a drink that our particular van or motorhome will still be at Gibraltar Farm and unscathed when we get back.

we can go back together karen, thats no prob, a65 it is, .

tony, the wind will be blowing towards the beer fest from the site so the flying van may come and pick us up when we're done, save the walk home. =D> =D> .

Better attach a parachute to it so it can have a soft landing.

not quite as simple as that bob. after going to the beer festival (really good) and getting soaked to the undies on the way back   we went for a meal, unfortunately the restaurant seemed to struggle with a pre booked meal for 9 people, at 9 pm they had 5 sausage and no mash, no house pie and very little else as an alternative. this did set the seed for a few of us to leave for home before the next nights weather battering.

i think i may be turning southern. :?
