I'm up for that. It was quiet on Saturday night, but then it wasn't that busy on Sunday lunchtime either!Bob wrote:Thought.
I'm guessing most of us will eat together in the pub on the Saturday night.

Visited The Golden Swan over the weekend. The ground is ok at the moment so unless there's a deluge we should be fine. Apart from the EHU points coming out from the toilet block there are also now 2 posts down the fence with 4 hook-ups apiece.
If you have extensions leads and splitters, bring them. I'll bring mine.
Pubs: all the ones we've visited in the past are open: The Barge at Honey Street, Seven Stars at Bottlesford, The Crown Inn, Royal Oak and Coopers plus the Moonlight one, all open when I drove past. They're building houses on the land next to The Crown Inn and Wilcot Road is one-way - don't know if it was last year or not, looks like a new thing. Can only drive from Pewsey towards Wilcot. Oh the Waterfront is also open. As is the wool shop! Garden Centre is still there too.
Footpaths are muddy but passable, including the canal towpath. I won't be joining any walks though - I overdid it (didn't think I did at the time) and now my knees are killing me!

No pics from me I'm afraid, although I took a couple but the sky was dark. Baz posted a good one on the FB group page. Thanks to everyone that turned up and braved it! Thanks also to Royston & Julia Heath and Gordon & Gill Weller who turned up on the Saturday and had a meal in the pub.
Only one no-show that didn't let me know so pretty good all in all.
Everyone agreed it was a lovely crowd and we all enjoyed ourselves despite the weather - and my damn knee! Thank goodness for Lilly the pub dog who exercised Ruca for me on the field!
Started the business of getting my knee sorted: doctor and X-ray dept this morning!
