Shame there are no really steep roads with snow on Paul. Could have had another epic.
Probably as well, I don't really need another serious b*ll****g.

Hannah says if we come back over the Hardknott Pass she's bailing out this time
We'll have to make do with the Buttertubs Pass instead

Re: Tan Hill Inn Highest Pub
A few photos below from a really relaxed night at the highest pub in the land...
A tad parky first thing
The new toilet block should be cosy once they get the walls up
These little critters wouldn’t shut up...
...at all

Brrrrrrrrrrr Muz - that looks like an excellent little meet up..........................from the warmth of my living room
By 'eck, when these Yorkshire folk say they've got an outside toilet.....they really mean it don't they.
Was the grouse (or whatever) a Bongo owner? Not seen her on here before
Well done ye tough northerners - I'm reminded I'm a soft southerner

Looks brill, wish I could have been there. One day I'll retire and be able to do these things ...

I agree with the Wensleydale Creamery, did you stop for deep-fried Wensleydale & chips at the chippy down the road?
Interesting (if a little corny) promotional video on the Hägglunds Bv206 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqzXueZS9NI
In 2010 Jr got to have a go as a passenger in one - impressive but noisy & dusty, and from inside you've no idea what's coming next so you don't know when to brace yourself!

Great pics! It was a very good night, not so good in the morning though.
I had to hand the driving duties over to my mate, Paul. He wants a Bongo now though.
