Scottish Bongo Bash 29 July to 3 August

Post by Ian » Tue Apr 14, 2015 7:51 am

This year's Summer Camp will take place at the Silver Sands Leisure Park in Lossiemouth, on the Moray coast. Booking commences this Thursday morning (16th April) by phoning the club office on 0114-2550836. Pitches (all electric) are £25 per night and you must book a minimum of 3 nights. Supplements are payable for dogs and awnings at £1 per night.

Please have your membership number and vehicle registration to hand when phoning. Places are limited. We are very fortunate to get these pitches in the peak season, and I have promised to hand back any unwanted slots by the end of June.

Ok Tony, no problem, pay on arrival. It's actually 6 days (5 nights), starting on Wednesday finishing Monday. Which nights do you want?

Oops! time I went back to school. Make it the full 5 nights. Spoken to Donald who says that he will try to come but at the moment has no idea of the day thanks to his work commitments.

Will try again on Monday. Neil and I are really looking forward to this. This will be Neil's first ever time going to a bongo meet, he can't wait to see all the other conversions.

Bookings for this event have now been suspended. We have 12 people booked in. We have sent an email or letter to all who have booked asking for additional information. Responses are required by Tuesday 19th May.

Silver Sands has been taken over. The new company do not rallies but will honour our booking. Any further bookings must be made direct with the campsite.

Shoot... you might get a weird phone call then. Sorry.

My dad met some bongo peoples up in Braemar this weekend (he seems to attract them and yet claims he isn't a people person). I told him to tell them to contact you regarding the meet-up in Lossie. They seemed really keen. Sorry.

Also... I keep forgetting to do this. Will have to sort it out this week.

Erm... a bit confused.

Dad went to book with Silver Sands yesterday and they are still saying that we have to book with Bongo Fury.

Seeing as I am a bit daft, can I get confirmation of who I book with?? I'm just a bit confused.

Sorry and thank you.

I've settled up with them for all 12 bookings and told them that all subsequent bookings must be made direct with site. Note that there are no grass pitches left, only hard standing.

Sounds like you need to call SS direct but don't mention the word Bongo......
