Depends on the time of the year of course. It was so long ago that I can't remember exactly when but I do remember that I had no trouble with midges that day.

Yes, stunning spot that car park.
We stayed there overnight a couple of years ago on the way up to the Scottish Bash at Gairloch.

Fab photos brywi.

Does anyone know if it's still possible to camp in Glen Etive? I had heard they were trying to put a stop to it a bit like the ban at Loch Lomond.

Not been down there since last year when we were talking to a NTS ranger in the Clachaig about their
litter problem,we picked up 2 empty pot noodle tubs and an empty bottle of Buckfast from our spot,
can't say a ban was mentioned.Good write up here from Cameron McNeish.
