Aw... happy b-day muz jr.
Just remember, don't drink and cycle. Otherwise, you end up sleeping in a ditch. (My OH has done that before).

Interesting, very interesting. See this from my original report....
….No Man’s Land fort which has been a hospitality centre with indoor pool and two helipads. Some of the 1972 Sea Devils series of Doctor Who was filmed here. All large marine traffic has to pass between these two forts as the WW2 submarine defences still remain to either side
Then see this from earlier today - looks cool

The Way was shown on BBC2 last night and is on the iPlayer for the next few days. Well worth a watch, it's not religious but a really good film with cracking location shots from Pamplona, Burgos, León, Santiago and Muxía. The DVD has very interesting interviews with Martin Sheen and his real-life son Emilio Estevez, but the film itself is a good taleMuzorewa wrote:

Is nothing safe from the grip of blatant commercialism?Muzorewa wrote:

It was designed and built in white and that's how it should stay. Otherwise why not add another next to it and paint them both gold, and have a 24-hour McDrive at the base

Even sadder is the explanation of why they are having to do it:Muzorewa wrote:Is nothing safe from the grip of blatant commercialism?Muzorewa wrote:

Hi
Huh!!!!...I see some Emirate is behind it...sneakily , England will become a satellite of the middle East, and English will become a dead language.....
Well...it ain't going to happen, as the Human race won't be here to see it!:

That looks like a good thing for Mother Earth...a fresh start with no stupid Bi-peds spouting religion

Re: Team Muz on tour in Iberia
I suspect they've used the school example as the one most likely to attract sympathy, all councils have a budget shortfall and have to prioritise services. It was interesting that in a previous bulletin "A council report said the authority had been looking for ideas to "generate additional revenue by using the advertising potential of council-owned land and other assets" since 2009" so possibly not the political hot potato they're making it out to be.mikeonb4c wrote:Even sadder is the explanation of why they are having to do it:

Extinction like our Bongos seems to be fast approaching - but as long as it's not before I complete all the remaining tours I've got planned, then I can relax as me & Bongy go the way of the dinosaurshelen&tony wrote:...as the Human race won't be here to see it!:

That could be a good eBay ruse - you know like sad people take clods of turf when grounds get redeveloped - ex-Saints red paint you could sell to a gullible audience with no guarantee it's the real deal at alldobby wrote:Anyone who wants to paint their Bongo red may be in luck
