Tough Northerners Summer Camp 7 to 10 August Cumbria

Post by Ian » Wed Apr 30, 2014 8:39 am

This meeting will be held at the very remote High Laning, Dent, Cumbria (the Yorkshire Dales bit) from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 August. Booking must be through Bongo Mission Control only and commences at 0930 on Thursday 1 May. Please have your membership number and vehicle registration to hand when phoning. Full details here:

We have limited availability, 30 electric and 5 non-electric pitches. It's a bit pricey I'm afraid, but not as expensive as their normal school holiday tariff.

Can't believe I can't make this one again as I am on holiday in Turkey then. Hopefully I will make one tough northerners camp sometime.

Nice area which I got to know when I walked the whole of the Dalesway with a nephew years ago. But now that I have got a motorhome rather than a Bongo the narrow approach roads to the site rather put me off. I hope for a more easy to get too site next time round.

It's not a problem getting there with a large motorhome or caravan from the Sedbergh side.
