Tough Northerners Summer Camp 7 to 10 August Cumbria

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

I'll start another thread with the menu for a show of hands to guage quantities, and possibly then a shopping list if folk are up for chipping in with ingredients... worked well at the 'Squirrel before.

For context - I'll cook up some food in a couple of dutch ovens, over charcoal. All from scratch - no "freeze at home and thaw on-site" nonsense... :p

I will probably end up eating the lot and June will need to roll me home. On your day off we can have a whip round to buy you some fish and chips at the village chippy. :D

The UK Campsite website says that dogs are permitted. See below.

Cheers Tony,as Harry says, the website doesnt say no dogs, and i double checked the "more info " sections but couldnt find it saying the usual "well behaved dogs on leads are allowed". I fired an email to them, but as yet,had no reply
Never thought of looking on UK Campsites website

And cheers Harry!!!

We hope to pop along for the day (probably Saturday) if thats ok and say hello and take a look at all your fab Bongos - we are future owners, still looking for the perfect van, but we only live around 40 minutes away.
