Tough Northerners, Clitheroe Lancs, 22/24 March (Club Meet)

This meeting will be held over the weekend of 22 March at the Three Rivers site and we have an initial allocation of 20 pitches, all on hard standing with electric hook up. There will be a pie 'n' peas reception on Friday night and a snooker competition on Saturday night.

We have now finalised the catering arrangements for this event.

There will be a "pie and peas reception" served between 6pm and 8pm on Friday night. This will be individual portions of a Lancashire Hotpot with a lid, accompanied by peas and gravy. The vegetarian option is a roasted veg & herb pasty with peas and stock. Both options cost £5 per head if booked in advance, £6 if paid on the night. Childrens portions of the above are available at £3 per head (£3.50 on the night) and include jelly & icecream.

The restaurant will be open from 4 pm to 8pm on Friday, 9am to noon, and 4pm to 8pm on Saturday, 9am to 11am Sunday.

Well we hope to be there Brian, probably last run for our Dear Bongo as I hope she will find a new home that loves and cherishes her as much as we have.

we live local so wont book though, to leave spaces for those travelling------------------plus the wifes job contract is ending then,so dont know how things will be .

Hi all you northaners, yep! we've booked to visit you all up north. We did one of your meets a few years ago and it was bl***dy freezing, lets hope the weather is kinder this time around. Roseanne and I are looking forward seeing so old faces and meeting newbies. Talking of Hotpot, does anyone know if Ann has still got her Bongo? or her contact address as we would love to meet up, seeing as she was from Clitheroe.
