Packhorse Farm, Matlock - Early February

Post by Muzorewa » Thu Jan 05, 2012 2:30 pm

A few of us are planning to camp at Packhorse Farm campsite near Matlock in Derbyshire on the first weekend of February. We're booking individually, so if anyone else fancies it, ring them up and say either the magic 'Bongo' word or mention Catherine (UmbongoCat) to be sure we're pitched together.

All booked :) They only have 5 leccy hook ups I think and said that the field could be quite wet or snowy :)

Will be bringing our open fire pit as we're allowed to have those pre-packed logs on it, so bring some along if you're coming

Well I hope it won't be as windy as it was last night here in Matlock or you will all end up in the North Sea. :)

See you all there.

Muz and I are only booked in the Saturday night by the way, but still mention you're with us so we get to be together. I'm sure it won't be booked out this time of year though [-o<

Our bongo looks lonely in the field on its own. Looking forward to seeing fellow bongonauts tomorrow

I've just looked at the BBC weather site - I hope you've got your snow shoes ready for tomorrow
