Re: Southern Softies 2012
Nice thunder storm with several claps of the thunder, but the worst of the rain missed the Country Park, we've been sat at the Western end in a car park watching it pass either side! Anyway back at the campsite now and its just clouded over again and the forecast is more of the same!

Big Thanks to all who helped make this another great weekend,
Nice site in a lovely location, the walk on the Saturday turned out lovely
after what looked like it was going to be a washout, but 10 mins after setting off
everyone had to start undressing Lovely Jubbely
here's a few piccys to keep you going (click to enlarge)

Re: Southern Softies 2012
Given the last minute nature of the booking, we both had a great time visiting old friends and meeting some new faces too! Shame we had to leave so early Sunday morning but at least we weren't the first engine start up of the morning
Back home by 8.45 am, Mr's D to her plastering & me off sailing on the good old briny
Hope the rest of the Sunday was dry for you, as we ran into rain again along the eastern end of Hasting seafront and it lasted until we were back in Eastbourne.
Looking forward to seeing you all again, we'll try & plan ahead in future
Have a few photo's of the clan gathering on saturday evening & those very colourful sweaters model by Crazy & BoyfromBrazil, to say nothing of Ian's Veranda venture
Will try & get them uploaded shortly.

Great pics Graham, Looks like a lovely place to visit.
Wish we could have been there but we had a 50th Birthday do to go to.
We hope to attend a meet up in the near future.

Re: Southern Softies 2012
Hi, Roseanne and I had a brill time meeting so many newbies. We hope to see you all again at future meets. Thanks Ian and Marrianne for, yet again, another successful Southern Softies. It's just a pity that we didn't have a full attendance. Who would think a little drop of rain would put so many off.
I would just like to say that I was very pleased and supprised to see one of our older and respected members, who we first met at our first Southern Softies a few years ago now. Sadly her husband Dave passed away last year. But, dispite her disablities, she drove from the Isle of Waight to the meet, all by herself. It was a pleasue to meet up with you again Catherine. We hope to see you at the Welsh bash.

Hi Chris, that must have been the first Southern Softies that you and the family have missed. Hope to see you at Stourport.
