Hi all,

I'm afraid that Jayne contacted me a few days ago to say that one of the barns had caught fire, wrecking farm equipment, grain and tools. Fortunately no-one was hurt, and Jayne and family are being very positive about it all.

Unfortunately, with all the extra work they now have, they havn't got the time to accommodate us for a meet.

In true Jayne style, she has contacted a local friend and we are welcome to meet there. I have decided, with the commitments I have this summer, that I haven't the time to organise a different site, so, if anyone wants to pick up the reins, and sort the meet, I'm happy to pass details on.

The site that Jaynes' friend owns is an outdoor pursuits centre, with a cafe and room for Bongo's.

What a shame - really gutted for them :( :(
My son will be disappointed as he was going to come with me, after I'd explained how good Jayne and family were to us.
Other place looks good, but is not really much use to my lardy, creaking body
