Day meet 7th Nov Llanberis, N Wales
Finally made some arrangements for a North Wales day meet.
Llanberis Slate museum at 10.30 on Sunday 7th November.
http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/slate/
It's £3 to park , but a lot of the stuff to do there is then free.
Thought we're meet up, have a chat and potter around the museum, etc., spot of lunch and then possibly head off on a bit of a drive up over Llanberis Pass, trying to spot the Lady of Snowdon on our way!

This should be a cracking day meet,we had a static 1 mile from here for 12yrs,fabulous area, loads to do and see,but unfortunately we wont be able to attend.
Worth a walk into the Vivien Quarry if its sunny to see some climbers on the quarrys shear faces.
Also, have a drive to the following campsites,1/2 a mile away.Ive sayed at both and can highly recommend them, worth a drive down the road to have a look with a view to staying there

And for Muz, there`s a brill chippy in Llanberris village

Which one are you thinking about Brian, Pete's Eats (which comes highly recommended) or this one on the High Street which we have sampled....Bongoplod wrote:....And for Muz, there`s a brill chippy in Llanberris village....

I agree on Pete's eats...great place to get tea in pint mugs! You can even buy a mug to take home.
