Sorry I couldnt make this ,due to my dodgy hip I slipped getting out of the shower Thursday night, broke the toilet and my left side is black and blue.
Coudnt bend down yesterday morning and decided camping would be too much.
Thought I might`ve been able to come this morning if it was easier, but its still too painfull.
Looking forward to all your photos.

Hope you're feeling better soon Brian. Had a lovely afternoon on a day visit up there, just wish had booked to stay over. Thanks for the hospitality, nice to meet new faces and catch up with some of you who I haven't seen in ages. Keep warm and have a good journey back. Looking forward to the pics!

Thanks to Manda & Andy for organising another great meet in Bakewell, not as cold as last year fortunately and a good turnout with a few day-visitors on Saturday as well. They even managed to get a family connection to be driving the Nottingham to Manchester bus which took us from Bakewell and dropped us right outside the site
Bakewell Parish Church
A nice bit of woodwork on the altarpiece
Medieval stone graves in the churchyard
www.bored.com
Looks like we could be having rabbit casserole for tea
I’m suspecting this is a subtle hint that our Bongo is overdue a wash
By now I was struggling to hold the camera still, I say it was the gusty wind, Mrs Muz reckons it’s the amount of beer & wine I seemed to have drank
Thanks to everyone for the cards & pressies
....although I’m not so sure about the apron
Hmmm, let it snow – do I suspect some surplus Christmas balloons here – or have they been specially selected knowing that we do seek out the snow whenever possible?
Oi!! – stay still while I get an air-rifle!!
Right, lets go rip some awnings

It was good to meet with the old and new faces and sorry if I didn't see everyone - I was probably asleep

Really enjoyed the trip out yesterday. Thanks from all of us for allowing us to gatecrash Had a loverly tipple of the fire drink (Thanks Tomo) and a hot bowl of Muz's special chilli (after I had spilt nearly a full spoon all over the table). Excellent company really was. We had a good laugh and chat. Glad to finally meet up with Umbongocat, Loopyloo.
Just had a look at the pics and I think we were second contender for the filthy bongo competition
Mucky contestant 1
Mucky contestant 2
We had nothing what so ever to do with the bendy bull bits.
We were covered in this caramac coloured goo that we had collected on our slight SatNag Detour to the site. Thank you to Widdowson2008 for coming out of the site to guide us whally's in.
We finished off with a small but effective convoy back home with a fab Audi ( which again ady said, why is that car not passing us? ) Sorry Ann, he forgot again until I reminded him
All washed and partly polished off now and ready to chill.
Catch you all again soon we hope.
Thanks Bulwells. very much appreciated.

Lovely to meet everyone, hopefully I either said hello, spoke to you properly or at least waved at some point!!!
The cable cars at the Heights of Abraham
Inside one of the Caverns
Moooooooo!
Going back down..if you get a magnifying glass you can spot a couple of Bongos...
Shall I stick a 'You've been Bongo'd' calling card on it or shall I just write in the dirt?
Nightime pic taken by Toby
Chris shows us how to put the tent down properly
Just as we were getting ready to leave, the sun came out
Chris really really really wanted to go to Decathlon
But we didn't buy anything (and he's showing a little too much interest in those kayaks if you ask me )
Finally, Mia (who wasn't with us, as she was at Beavers Camp), was very pleased with her pressie we got her from the Heights of Abraham
Thanks again to everyone, really nice weekend in a part of the country we'd love to visit again and see more of.
