My sister wants me to take her on a girlie road trip in my Bongo, and I'm searching for inspiration... we'd like a campsite with good facilities as she's definitely a 'glamper' not a camper! Ideally we'd like somewhere under cover to go for the day if the weather is wet/cold, but nothing too adventurous - I'm thinking shopping/cinema rather than indoor climbing wall! It needs to be somewhere in the Gloucs/Worcs/Hereford/Wilts area. Does anyone have any recommendations? We're thinking of going in October if that helps.
Cheers!

Oh dear I don't think I can help with this one I am afraid
However.................................why not try a bit of sibling education.
Rather than Gloucs/Worcs/Hereford/Wilts think next stop Iceland.
Indoor facilities when raining............a campers kitchen.
Shopping.......................there is a Spar next door.
Good facilities................there are 2 toilet blocks.
The ideal place http://www.sangosands.com
You never know, it may be the start of a Bongo adventure for her, all it takes is some gentle persuasion and she will realise that camping for exceeds the pleasures of glamping.
Seriously though, I hope you both have a great time.

Why?...........Because somebody might wave back.

But it looks OK, and well sited for several good towns.

Worcester is great for shopping and has a cinema, there are a few sites near by http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/resul ... er&by=town
Clent has a lovely C&CC site and is handy for Birmingham, loads of shops (Bullring etc) and an IMAX cinema.

Re: Bongo girlie road trip
you could try North Devon and go shopping at Atlantic village for your retail experance and the coast to wander along - not to far to go but might be far enough!!!!!
Be nice to everyone they might be nice back.
