Team Muz Wales tour 2010
Phase 1 of the tour was Debbie’s Anglesey adventure, pictures HERE
Then off south towards Beddgelert....
Welsh highland railway between Caernarfon and Beddgelert
River Glaslyn south of Beddgelert
Then off to Portmeirion which was a first for all of us....
....and then on to....
....where the kids promptly disappeared....
....and Jr set about digging a hole big enough to bury Muzette in
Team Muz on tour
As Europe’s biggest campsite, no problem with rowdy neighbours here
Time to incinerate more food...
....cunningly disguised as pig’s heads
....and expertly cooked by Jr
....while Muzette was still unsteady on her new bike
Now off further south to Fairbourne...
Answers on a postcard....although even with my very limited knowledge of Welsh I know that it should be spelt Gorsafawddacha'idraigodanheddogleddol-lônpenrhynareurdraethceredigion
....and then Cae Du campsite at Rhoslefain, Gwynedd....
It was a touch windy when we arrived
How is it that only the women use the PortaPotti but it’s us who have to empty it?
Red sky at night....
Pwllheli’s on fire
How about that for a mackerel sky. Hmmm, mackerel – that gives me an idea
Morning campers!
Note the shovel is in one piece at this stage of the day
Young naturalists
The morning’s catch. Note the hastily repaired shovel
Campsite with a view?
Time for lunch, and a special ‘live’ edition of Bored with Butties, details HERE
Ever had one of those books you just couldn’t put down?
Short-cut back to the Bongo
The Cambrian, Machynlleth to Pwllheli service passes right by the campsite
Aha – the firewood has arrived!
Cut some up quickly....
....and get it going in one of the many fire-pits....
....nearly ready to cook on....
....bahhhhh, get some more wood going just to be sure....
Hmmmm, that’s more like it!
Ready, Steady, COOK!!
....then stoke the fire up for a cool evening....
Oi! – Time to pack up!!
Oh, alright, one more go on the bike before we go
Finally south to Dyfed and Borth....
Barnacles on limpets. Bored with Butties phase 36!
Scrub that, this looks more appetising
That’s it folks, tune in next time for another thrilling episode of “Team Muz on Tour”

No, they wind each other up something ruthless but he always looks out for her and even though he might appear to be a complete imbecile he wouldn't let any harm come to her. Re: Team Muz Wales tour 2010
You may wonder why, from Cae Du in Gwynedd on our last night, we ventured south into Powys and then Dyfed to Borth. This was in search of the lost forest, some Scottish geezer on the recent "Coast" series on the BBC was waxing lyrical about how Cardigan Bay was once a fertile land and to prove it there is the remains of a forest at Borth which can be clearly seen at low tide. Google to the rescue and check out the tide times, and get along there....
