If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

yorks bash confirmed 5th till 7th june 2009

dreamwarrioruk wrote:right just been down to the site. alas it has been sold, to the flower of may company. the reception was a little frosty unlike eddie last year and the woman was a bit snooty on the desk.

however i can confirm that the york bash will go ahead on friday 5th june until sunday 7th june. i have provisionally booked in 30 bongos and at the last count we were up to 26. they are going to email me with more details. im gonna try to get a discount on the price and they were arguing on charging extra for more than two people, which i think ive quashed.
so until i get an email i cant tell you the price.
the lady was also going to see if she could get us all together in a block unlike last years split with a row of caravans but again cant confirm that.

heres the smaller list of people coming to date, few dropped out recently but we will still have a rememberable bash

hi all,
its getting to the time to get the ball rolling for next years "not to be missed" bongobash in york.
it will be held again at goosewood holiday park
im looking to plan it either at the start of june as per last year or mid july or late july.
a few people wanted to come last year but it clashed with the national meet. early july will be
taken by harrys birthday bash (possibly again at crooklands)
any interested parties post on here please with an indication of which dates are better.
gonna cap this on for numbers of around 30.

no ghost walks on this one but ive got a couple of venues in mind for us to do.

We'll make space for whatever is the most popular on this one Mike after the last York Blast.

Can you beat the ghostwalk next time though . . . .

We are ok for any of those dates and don't have a preference - count us in.

Early June is looking good for us being available at the moment. Finances are very tricky right now so we can't definitely commit at the moment in case I get offered a really good paying gig... the site is brilliant though so I'd love to come if it's at all possible.

Not voted either but will do my damdest to come. Depends on what happens with our summer hols. June wants to go to the Isle of Man to chase up her roots.
If you run out of pitches I may be able to squeeze it in as a day visit. Last years Yorks meet was just up the road from my niece's in Copmanthorpe.
