If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Team Muz ‘Bongo Tours’ Phase 5

Post by Muzorewa » Mon Sep 22, 2008 8:33 am

The fifth and final phase of Muz Tours for this year didn’t require passports, ferries or Euros, although it was south of Birmingham so we took our passports just in case.

We were soon set up on the packed campsite....

There were several other Bongos at the circuit, no idea who any of these people are.

Tantastic Muz =D> =D> =D>

With stories like these, who needs Caravan & Camping Magazine

I greatly admire the 'get up and go' you guys have. Our family is more 'get up eventually and muddle about', though I love them to bits 8)

It's only at the planning stage yet, we would have gone this year but didn't have enough holidays - apparently I've been away rather a lot already this year :?

Plus next year, the Road-Equivalent-Tariff kicks in so some of the crossings should be a lot cheaper

Were you in the outside carpark after the finish, as we drove back & forth looking for another suitable photo? :?

Despite what was stated at Silverstone over the tannoy system that the driver of the TVR (Andy Neate) was air-lifted to hospital as a precaution but was conscious and generally ok, it has been announced by his wife today that he is in an induced coma with a broken neck, amongst other serious injuries, and his future is far from clear. His neck cannot be operated on at the moment. Thinking of him, his wife and his kids, I'll put that part of the post back should he make a good recovery, otherwise it is in poor taste on here.

Best wishes to him from Team Muz :(

Yes I was there but driving around the circuit to see some Marshal freinds and I agree with you RE: Andy Neate thoughts with his family at this time, my brother was one of the rescue guys who got him out, hence why I was camped in the Marshals camping
