What a Great Day,What a great place (well done Alex) Thanks for all the great comments about the Lamb. And all the other food everyone brought. The amounts where near perfect. Think Mrs C enjoyed herself by the empty wine bottle, What a great bunch of folks. There something great about sitting around an open fire in the middle of the country
Think i may have found myself a job spit roasting

Best Regards Nick.Val.Ollie

PS No picture's i am afraid i was a little preoccupied

Photobucket was a bit holey this morning for me too  I ended up going to the Sanctuary, then Silbury Hill, then circled down to Stonehenge & sat on the lane overlooking it for a couple of hours in the drizzle, spot the stones Spinal Tap stylee in front of the bongo

I'm trying to buy a couple of pop up tents from Ebay at the mo, and also feeling my way to find a chain of kind bongoleers to help get them from Bolton to Swindon. With luck this just might work. [-o<[/quote]

Just post in Off Message for a Bongo Relay, the Gang will help out. :D

What a great time, thanks to Alex and all involved with organising.

Perfect venue, cheap enough camping, and the Big One, great company as always.

Sunday morning we walked east along the towpath to the Golden Swan at Wilcot, another nice pub, and they have a campsite too.

Just ignored the drizzle and got on with it, mild enough. We left about 15.00.

Just brilliant. =D> =D> =D>

I would have loved to have joined you all for this one. And not just for the lamb!! A great gang of some familiar faces! On a caravan holiday at Braunton (Tarka), the first half of the week and then a few days in Newquay (another caravan) the rest of the week. I think I must be turning in to a wimp. (But I did miss my bongo). I like the look of Dorothy.
Under ground, over ground, bongoing free!
