They hadnt recd it :!: :!: :!: :!:
So made our booking by telephone.

See you all soon.

Absolutely right, don't know what's happening with their emails this year. I used to use [email protected] but now seem to have better luck using [email protected].

Anyway, as I said before, there is going to be plenty of room on the site for anyone who wants to make a last minute decision.

Do you play? Do jamming sessions? Ooh getting excited now! Mind you I've got a week on top of Exmoor first - in this weather!!!!! I may be a drowned rat!

Yes, I play; No, not jamming sessions. Mix of everything from pub singsongs to rock & roll, ballads to classical, to suit all tastes and ages. Just a self-taught amateur who never misses a chance to sit at the keyboard! :P Everyone talks over me anyway  It's just a bit of music to brighten up the evening.

Enjoy Exmoor!!!

If Bob didn't have to work, we would have joined you on the Thursday.

We now have 8 pitches booked - and maybe more will turn up if the weather is decent:-
Bob and Mo - Rooster
Haydn - Bessie Bongo
Jo - Violet Bongo Jo
Bob and Lin - Freewheeler
Jilly - Jillygumbo
Bev and Brian - Bessie
Jim and Julia - Motorwizard
Dave and Jeanette - JDS

Be careful to go to the right site - you want Watermouth VALLEY CAMPING PARK (the one adjoining The Old Sawmill Pub). There are two sites very close to each other. One is a big site with lots of facilities, called Watermouth COVE camping park; the one you want is the smaller one (used to be called Big Meadow). People have gone to the wrong one before so be careful!

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Well the weather is set fair (not a heatwave but pretty dry and warm) so see you all Friday (and anyone else who'd still like to join us)

Well folks, it looks like you are in for a good week end as far as the weather goes. I expect the "Wanderers" will make it a week end to remember,

Have a good one

The Wanderers have done it again! What a great weekend - a very pretty site with a helpful and pleasant owner, Dave. The company of friends, old and new. Lovely weather (until Sunday morning anyway). Lots of chat and laughs and a good social evening on the Friday. Here are a few pics - sorry Bob and Lin I didn't get one of you - but then there's not one of me either!

The photos are lovely Mo. You were lucky to get a few of the best days of the summer sun too. :D
