It most certainly is, very comfy as well. The base vehicle is 1997 'R' in very good nick, very clean inside and out, and underneath with under-seal.
As you can see I haven't quite mastered Photobucket but will persevere.
Cheers Pete & Sue.

Hey Sue, Is that my Dago you've got there on your avatar? Pete looks just like Dago - obviously all Peters with silver Bongos look the same

Think we need to really think about this!! Mine does wander in and out a lot - mind you, it's usually to the Bongo - but it is not impossible that he's leading a double life!!! Does yours have little 'absences' now and then? If the worst comes to the worst, are we prepared to share Bongos????

Come to think of it he does travel to Ashford quite regularly  Sharing Peters is one thing, but sharing the Bongo :?: , now I would really need to think about that one #-o \:D/  Do you think thee is someone out there cloning Peters to drive silver Bongos :?:

Will be travelling with me digi camera at the ready in future - this has to be sorted 'cos having the country full of cloned Peters driving silver Bongos is very worrying! Mind you, I expect yours is well trained (as is mine!) so one could assume that the rest will be the same and we could eventually end up with a Bongo Pete running the country! Quite fancy that idea, so will leave well alone \:D/

Pete and Sue,

Bought our van from AVA. It is not converted as we find more use for it as a MPV and removal van. We also take our (indoor) cat on holiday nand there is room for her play-pen in the back (really!).

We live in Sidcup and I note you venture into this part of the world. maybe we could meet up for a chat during the summer. Maybe one of those nice country pubs around Edenbridge?

OK, PM me and have a very good trip. That will be even more to chat about - experiences of long-distance Bongoing to a place that I have an eye for retirement!!

There was a Meet at Nutley last October, for the 'local' Bongo's. We are still looking for another suitable pub venue, possibly with overnight facility.
Any suggestions greatly received. Must not clash with any Major Bongo meets though.

Hi,
I have just decided to log on to the Forum and whilst wandering around imagine my surprise  to find a clone of our Bongo. Our Reg is R281NUF also an AVA Leisure conversion even the interior layout and colour scheme is the same. The real clincher is the awning is also a Kyam. Will post photo's when recovered from shock.
