Hi there, Just been tidying up the Bong.

Image
Letters from Halfords and Mazda badges from a Mazda spares site

Plasti-cote spray paint for the grill from B & Q.

Leather cover from eBay.

I took the centre-console apart, left the old grotty cover on; after washing off the nicotine and food sauce. Put lashings of Evostik onto both surfaces. left it dry; like wot it says on the tin, and very carefully stuck the leather cover over the console and it turned out OK.

Now the grandchildren have one each!

Just had new discs and pads replacements for the front brakes, the next thing is to contact Cabte for some roof decals.

Bongos are so enjoyable!

Hello Kat, It was a great meet as usual, lovely peeps, beautiful bongos and a great area to be in.
The folding caravan is our new awning. Old age dictates 'comfort', so we now have the Carousel. The Bongo is good for towing and, of course, when we go out and about with the Bong we have brilliant day-van.

We'll be in the Wirral at the end of the month for family birthdays, etc, so you could come and have a look-see.

A few pics for mobilecat.

This is a 10 foot Carousel, 2 berth and toilet. It is the smallest of the standard range. It's good for us as we can store it in the garage when it's folded down.

In the background you can see some Carousels folded down ready to tow.

Hope you like it Cat,

Oh I do - its lovely. They have always fascinated me, now even more so because we couldn't store a caravan and would need to put anything we got in our drive.

On the subject of things we like, can you post some photos of your bedboards for Sue? The boys are getting older and want to sleep in Granddads Bongo. We will be at Cheshire Oaks in a couple of weeks so you could come over and have a look at the Carousel and show us the bedboards.

Another add-on to the Bong.
