tailgate struts
Have recently fitted a bikerack to Bongo and with the extra weight (8kg) the tailgate would not stay open without a wooden prop. Read a topic on this site and sent the struts to SGS Engineering Derby (Tel 0845 880 12 55 ) Super company to deal with, very helpful and for £17.50 per strut put a bit more gas in and now the tailgate is perfect. Stays up and opens/closes with little effort. Easy job for any Bongo owner to do.
