Hi
We've had some issues with our V6. Over a few months, the engine cuts out (I think when approaching stop and gears shift) and last night we were heading south on the A1 and there was a loud thud, the van jerked almost like it was stalling out but the momentum kept it going. It did again and as I came off into services the engine totally cut and the hold light was flashing.
I've looked for error codes - none. I've checked oil, fine. Can will restart and move but frankly any though of distance is twitchy bum time. Any ideas/suggests comments gratefully appreciated as we ned this sorting asap!

Hmmm...not sure really. Did you check the gearbox oil too?

If the Hold light is flashing then there is an error being reported, you don't say what year the vehicle is, but you may need to read the gearbox error codes rather than the engine codes try using the FAT/TAT pins rather than the FEN/TEN pins ?

It could also be a problem with the main engine (100 amp) fuse. It is ceramic and if cracked can cause intermittent power loss.
