Speedo, Rev Counter and Fuel Gauge gone haywire
Hi, my speedo stopped working completely so I asked the mechanic doing the annual service in a July to take a look, he said he’s sorted it but now the speedo and rev meter jump about sporadically (with no change in speed or revs) and the fuel gauge only ever goes to half full and drops to empty and back up again randomly. The fuel gauge was earthed a few years ago when it stopped working completely - is this a similar issue? Is it an easy fix? Should I be asking the mechanic to fix it all for free as it went in with 1 issue and came out with several more?(and don’t get me started on the cracked cylinder head when driving home from said service

Could be an earthing problem for the dashboard display, take a look at earthing point 7 righthand end of dashboard;

Ah, thank you. I’ll check it out when we’re back home from our camping trip.
